Education for All: A Dream in Action with Hamari Pahchan

 In India, over 35 million children aged 6–14 do not attend school. For them, education is not a basic right — it's a distant dream. Many of these children come from slums or poor families who can't afford books, uniforms, or even a proper meal. That’s where Hamari Pahchan NGO, one of the best NGOs in Delhi, comes in.

Through their powerful initiative called "Pathshala", Hamari Pahchan NGO is giving new hope to hundreds of underprivileged children. From setting up small schools in slum areas to providing free books, stationery, and basic education — this NGO is making sure that no child is left behind.

I recently visited one of their learning centres in Delhi. The place wasn’t a big school building, but a small room filled with laughter, curiosity, and dreams. Children were reading aloud, solving math problems, and talking about what they want to become — a teacher, a doctor, a police officer. It touched my heart.

Meet Ravi, a 9-year-old boy who used to work at a tea stall to support his family. After joining Pathshala, he now goes to school every day. He proudly shows off his notebooks and dreams of becoming a lawyer to help others like him. Stories like Ravi’s show us that support for underprivileged children can really change lives.
